More early voting sites open Monday in Chicago and Cook County suburbs.
The 50 ward early voting sites in Chicago open as well as 55 sites in suburban Cook County. Chicago voters have already been able to vote early, ahead of Election Day on March 17, at the Chicago Board of Elections office at 69 W. Washington St. and the downtown supersite at 137 S. State St.

Voters who want to vote by mail can still sign up for a mail-in ballot. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. March 12.
As of Saturday night, 3,165 early vote ballots have been cast in Chicago and 24,612 vote-by-mail ballots have been received, according to the Chicago Board of Elections.
