A 40-year-old man was fatally shot Sunday morning inside a North Lawndale home, Chicago police said.
The man, in the home in the 1800 block of South Springfield Avenue, was shot multiple times around 4:45 a.m. The shooter was in the home’s rear doorway, according to police.
The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No one has been arrested, police said.
