Two people were shot in Back of the Yards Thursday night, according to Chicago police.
The men, 32 and 28, were inside a vehicle in the 1400 block of West 47th Street at 6:38 p.m., when a man approached them on foot and opened fire, police said.
The 32-year-old man was shot in the head and the 28-year-old was shot in his upper back. They were taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in serious condition.
No one is in custody, and police did not release any further details.
