A Ventra app glitch that was giving Metra riders issues has been resolved after nearly 4 hours.
A Metra spokesperson confirmed that the app was back up and running by 8 a.m.
Customers reported difficulties buying tickets as early as 4:30 a.m., a spokesperson with Metra confirmed. Those having difficulty with the app were able to ride for free.
The cause of the outage wasn’t immediately known.
