Three people were shot in the South Shore neighborhood Sunday evening, leaving two in critical condition, according to Chicago police.
They were in the driveway of an apartment complex in the 6900 block of South South Shore Drive about 5:20 p.m. when an unknown person shot them, police said.
They were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center. One, a 26-year-old man, was shot in the chest and listed in critical condition. A second male victim, whose age wasn’t reported, was also in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the neck. The third victim was in fair condition with an arm wound, police said.
No arrests were made, but a rifle and two handguns were recovered, police said.
