NFL picks: Christmas games don’t figure to be close

COWBOYS at COMMANDERS

Time: Noon, Netflix.

Line: Cowboys by 6½.

Total: 50½.

Records (overall/ATS): Cowboys 6-8-1/7-8; -Commanders 4-11/5-10.

Outlook: The Cowboys have won nine of the last 12 in Landover, Maryland. QB Dak Prescott just hit 4,000 passing yards for the fourth season in his career. Plus, he’s 12-2 lifetime against Washington, with 30 TD passes and five picks. The Commanders will start Josh Johnson, 39, at QB in place of backup Marcus Mariota (quad, hand).

Pick: Cowboys 26, Commanders 13.

Play: Cowboys -6½.

LIONS at VIKINGS

Time: 3:30 p.m., Netflix.

Line: Lions by 7½.

Total: 43½.

Records (overall/ATS): Lions 8-7/7-8; Vikings 7-8/6-8-1.

Outlook: The Vikings have won three in a row, while the Lions have dropped three of their last four games. Minnesota won -27-24 in Detroit in Nov. 2. Without QBs J.J. McCarthy or Carson Wentz, though, the Vikings definitely are not the play.

Pick: Lions 27, Vikings 10.

Play: Lions -7½.

BRONCOS at CHIEFS

Time: 7:15 p.m., Prime Video.

Line: Broncos by 12½.

Total: 36½.

Records (overall/ATS): Broncos 12-3/6-8-1; Chiefs 6-9/5-10.

Outlook: Should the Chargers win against Houston and at Denver, they’d swipe the AFC West crown. This one being such a gimme, we’re pegging the division’s outcome on how the Texans apply their will this week at SoFi Stadium.

Pick: Broncos 24, Chiefs 10.

Play: Broncos -12½.
