A man was killed along the Blue Line when he came in contact with the electrified third rail in Austin.
He was found unresponsive on the tracks about 3:45 a.m. in the 700 block of South Central Avenue, Chicago police said. The location is near the Cicero station, 720 S. Cicero Ave.
The unidentified victim was dead on the scene and detectives are conducting a death investigation.
Blue Line service was temporarily suspended between Pulaski and Forest Park, but normal service resumed at 5:45 a.m., the CTA said.
