A man was killed Sunday in a shooting in South Deering, Chicago police said.
Demekrye Davis, 19, was in the 9600 block of South Brennan Avenue at 4:57 p.m. when he was shot twice in the chest and three times in the right leg, police said. Davis was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, where he later died.
No one is in custody.
