Quarterback Caleb Williams and the Bears starters went through pregame warmups in anticipation of playing against the Bills on Sunday night at Soldier Field.<\/p>\n
Head coach Ben Johnson said Friday that he planned on playing his starters but wouldn\u2019t say for how long. It might be their only exhibition work of the preseason \u2014 teams typically don\u2019t play their starters in the final preseason game.<\/p>\n
The Bears sat out their starters in their first preseason game against the Dolphins.<\/p>\n
Earlier this week, Johnson explained what he was looking for from his starters.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe haven\u2019t been here with this group as a coaching staff,\u201d he said. \u201cThat trust has been earning and we\u2019ve been developing that amongst each other. It\u2019s not a one-way street. It goes both ways. I think that\u2019s just another step in the progression. I think it\u2019ll be great for them also.\u201d<\/p>\n
